Do I have to pay monthly?
Only if you choose a paid plan. The Free plan has no monthly fee and lets you publish up to 3 SayEase Links. SayEase Pro, VideoLink Pro and the Bundle are optional upgrades.
Is $9.99/year a subscription or membership?
No. It's an annual renewal for each eligible link name after that name's free first year. The Free plan itself never expires. It is not a monthly plan and it does not unlock SayEase features.
When does SayEase charge a fee on a sale?
SayEase charges no platform fee on ordinary sales you generate through your own SayEase Links. Separate commissions or service fees may apply when another seller or creator generates the sale, when you opt into Post Deal, or when SayEase provides a separately disclosed sales-generation service.
Are standard SayEase Links really free?
Yes. Each standard SayEase Link name is free for its first year with no credit card required, then renews at $9.99/year per link name. The Free plan allows up to 3 published links and never expires. You can let a link expire if you no longer need it.
Do I have to buy a Premium SayEase Link?
No. Premium names are optional. They apply only to short, memorable, or high-value slugs.
Are Stripe fees included?
No. Stripe charges its standard processing fees on each transaction. SayEase does not add a sales or platform fee to ordinary seller transactions.
Does SayEase reduce creator payouts on Post Deals?
No. For Post Deals, the seller is responsible for the SayEase transaction/service fee. Creator payouts are not reduced.
Can I cancel or let a link expire?
Yes. You can stop renewing any link at any time. After it expires the slug is released.
Can my SayEase Link redirect to another website?
Yes. A SayEase Link can open a SayEase page or point to an existing website, store, booking page, or checkout. Standard SayEase Links are still free for the first year, then renew at $9.99/year.
What is Link Intelligence?
Every published SayEase Link automatically gets a machine-readable JSON document at /.well-known/link-intelligence/{slug}.json that AI agents and search engines can read. It's free and included on every plan.
Do I have to enable Link Intelligence?
No. It's generated automatically after you publish or meaningfully update a SayEase Link. Nothing to configure.
Is my SayEase Link listed in the public catalog?
Published SayEase Links with a ready intelligence record are included in /api/public/catalog. You can opt out per SayEase Link.
SayEase takes no percentage of your ordinary sales. Payments are processed directly through your connected Stripe account. Stripe's standard payment-processing fees still apply.
Post Deal service fees are separate and apply only when sellers use SayEase's Post Deal promotion, attribution, creator commission, or funded creator-payout features.
