Yes, SayEase is really free. Here's how.
SayEase does not require a monthly subscription just to create and use standard SayEase Links, and SayEase does not take a platform fee from ordinary seller sales made through the seller's own SayEase Link. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe still apply.
The principle
SayEase can earn around the transaction without taking a cut simply because a seller made an ordinary sale.
How SayEase can earn revenue
- Premium names. Highly desirable slugs and names can carry a one-time or premium charge.
- Renewals. Applicable claimed standard names can carry an annual renewal after the initial included period.
- After-sale recommendations. After a purchase is complete, a buyer may independently choose another relevant offer. That is a separate decision from the seller's original transaction.
- SayEase-generated or promoted products. SayEase may sell or promote its own offers with their own economics.
- Eligible resale and promotion commissions. Where a seller enables promotion or resale arrangements, agreed commission economics apply.
- Optional paid services. If SayEase introduces optional premium services in future, they will be clearly optional.
After-sale recommendations, plainly
They appear after the seller's sale is finished, they are separate from that transaction, and the buyer chooses whether to engage. There are no hidden charges added to the seller's sale.
What this does not mean
It does not mean every premium name is free forever, that no renewal can ever apply, or that every future optional service will be free. It means the core model — create links, publish pages, make sales — does not carry a SayEase subscription or a SayEase cut of your ordinary sales.
